Frederic Farlin has been working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Barlborough since 2004. He graduated at the University of Bordeaux, France in 2001 as a consultant and then worked as a clinical lecturer there.
Mr Farlin was mainly trained in Hip and Knee arthroplasties but he did as well sub-specialist training in arthroscopy for knee and foot and ankle. He has already implanted more than 1700 Total hip replacements, 2200 Total knee replacements and revised around 250 knees. The centre receive referrals for ‘second’ opinions for dissatisfied patients after Total Knee Replacement from a large geographical area. He routinely performs the following procedures: joint replacements including partial knee, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction and foot surgery.
