Decompression

Spinal decompression is the relief of pressure on one or many pinched nerves in the spinal column. It can be achieved through surgical and non-surgical techniques.

Discectomy

A surgical procedure, performed using keyhole surgery, during which a portion, or the whole, of a disc in the spinal column is removed to relieve pressure on a nerve.

Epidural injection for pain relief

Epidural steroid injections can temporarily relieve pain caused by inflammation in the spine and improve function.

Facet Joint Injections

A lumbar facet joint injection involves injecting a small amount of local anesthetic (numbing agent) and/or steroid medication, which can anesthetize the facet joints and block the pain.

Laminectomy

An invasive surgical procedure during which a small portion of the arch of a spinal vertebrae is removed to alleviate pressure on a pinched nerve.

“Not only was it considerably cheaper than traditional private hospitals, the CQC rating gave me the reassurance that I could expect high standards of care”.
